I did a leakdown test on the engine I am planning on using and I was not impressed (moderate to high leakage) so I tore it down to the shortblock (lots of carbon on the piston tops) and see it’s already been overbored to 0.030”. I’ll take it to the machine shop and see if it can be bored out one more time or start shopping for another 5.0 roller block.
