My first car. Stock aside from an SVT suspension kit and better brake pads. It’s currently used as a fun commuter & bike hauler. The early Focus doesn’t have the best reputation for quality, but mine’s been good to me. 32 MPG on a mixed commute, reasonably entertaining driving dynamics, and surprising (in a good way) cargo capacity round out the value proposition (and explain why my wandering automotive interests haven’t caused me to sell it after 10+ years).
