$35.00 Yoshimura silencer from a sport bike was fitted to help the 1300cc engine expel exhaust. The entire exhaust system had to be custom made because the stock Miata pipes were too large. The new system uses 1.5 inch diameter pipes to increase velocity. Note the safety stripes on the chassis brace. This warns small woodland creatures that overhead space is limited.
