This is an 83 Tomos with BMW decals. The decals actually look good on the bike. I won this bike on ebay for $114.00. It had 380 original miles. The original A3 engine was swapped for an A35 engine. The carburetor was re-jetted and an aftermarket exhaust was fitted. The rear sprocket was swapped for a smaller one to increase top speed. The bike can zip along at 40 MPH all day long and if the wind is on your back it will hit 44 MPH. This vintage Tomos is a cool toy to explore the rural back roads with. It has a two speed automatic transmission and is equipped with functional turn signals. It cost $20.00 every two years to keep it registered.
