Well, picked the car up from a fellow GRM’er mid day and loaded it up for the trip home. Was running on 5 cylinders but started right up without hesitation. Once I got to my halfway point at a friends house so I could do some diagnosis on the car……and the hood release cable broke upon my first attempt to use it. No snap or anything, just nothing (worked 3 hours ago.) Well there is an easy manual access to the hood latch and got it opened and started tinkering and found that #5 fuel injector was barely opening. I also found that the fan clutch was seized. So I had one on order to work before sun up.
