I got the pitch at Hyperfest last year and was very excited about this. But good lord, it costs more than a set of race tires. I'm good with my FAST cooler and bags of ice.
It's quite the system. I had first hand experience with them on the race team. I think we received one of the very first ones. We had the issue of the system getting warm inside the car and just shutting down. If the driver was able to restart it going down the straightaway or under caution, it would reboot at ambient temperature. The driver would have to manually turn down the temperature, which isnt easy to do while strapped in tight. I believe the issue was resolved when we sent it back, and since then they've added forced induction scoops and extra fans to combat the heat soak issue.

Cool product. Wish it was cheaper.

$2000? IDK, getting ice isn't *that* much of a hassle.......
Besides, that's what crew is for.
It is a neat design and I'm sure it'll sell. There are plenty of trackday types that can throw cash around.
