Is This Elan Proof That No Project Is Impossible? | Video

Early on in the restoration, our 1964 Lotus Elan was dubbed “Restoration Impossible.” Why? Simply put, it was in such poor shape when we found it that it looked virtually impossible to restore. Leaving it behind probably would have been a better use of our time.

However, since we like a challenge, we went ahead and restored it to concours condition. You can read about the whole restoration process now over on Classic Motorsports. Presented by CRC Industries.

What a neat vid. Keeping the vacuum in the frame feels like peak chapman.
