At the age of 23, jazz legend Herbie Hancock decided to check out the then-new Cobra. And thanks to an unwelcoming salesman, he wound up buying one.

And since Mr. Hancock mentions "Watermellon Man," figure we can all listen to it together.
Now THAT is patina worth saving. No abuse, no "barn storage" covered with dirt, or gotten wet to rust, etc- just reasonably used and kept with great care.
Herbie's da'man all class. He knew what was cool before it "became cool" .
So you are saying that when he started playing with Miles, it was "The Birth of the Cool"?

Cool Stuff.
I didn't know Herbie was into cars. I would have thought he was all Db-7#9 add11
I wonder what Quicy Jones has in his garage.. He prolly has a few bucs after producing all those Michael Jackson Albums!

Apparantly Quincy Jones doesn't drive.
