The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe was built to do one thing: beat the Ferrari 250 GT on track. Not only did it succeed, but in 1965 Daytona Coupe also became the first American car to win the FIA World Championship.
This particular example, CSX2300, is the focus of the book "Shelby Daytona Coupe-The Autobiography of CSX2300," and can be now purchased from BRE autographed by the man that designed the Daytona Coupe, Peter Brock.

Excellent!
Makes me lust after a Factory Five coupe (and the last thing I need is any more cars - just ask my wife!)
