In light of the very public stock fraud trial, Preston Tucker was said to have built only 51 examples of his revolutionary Tucker 48.
The flat-six-powered, rear-engined sedan came equipped with numerous safety features considered ahead of their time, such as a shatterproof front windshield, a padded dash, and directional headlights that turned with the wheels.
This Tucker, No. 34 of 51, was recently put on the dyno.
Any guesses on how much power it will make? Do you think it will be close to the originally advertised 166 horsepower?
