The original Mini may have shifted the perception of what a sporty car can be, but this particular example turns that dial well past 11.
The factory engine was removed, replaced by a Honda-sourced, 215-horsepower, four-cylinder engine. That new engine wasn’t placed in the front, though, as it was relocated to the back of the car so that all of that power could be sent through the rear wheels.

I must have missed the rear-engined Mini in the video, but the mid-engine one that they showed is awesome!
