Peter Brock created the Ferrari-beating Shelby Daytona Coupe. Decades later, he penned a modern version. Walk around the updated car with Brock himself.
It is a treat to learn from Peter Brock here, and in his regular column in Classic Motorsports. His column alone is worth the subscription price. He seems to have the vision of an artist, the analytical mind of an engineer, the enthusiasm of a racer, and the ability to eloquently explain his ideas to the rest of us.

Good way to describe Peter. He is a true renaissance man, and a real treat to talk to in person. Getting to know him a bit has been one of the "pinch me, I must be dreaming" features of my professional life.

With Brock it seems to be a case of function being more important than nostalgia.

I met him at JCCS in Long Beach. A few years earlier I talked to John Morton at length at the JCCS. Both great guys.
Pete sends out a great BRE email update that is quite good - one I read completely through. Get on his list if you can.
