This past weekend marked our annual Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge at Virginia International Raceway, with Brian Faessler's turbocharged Ford Mustang GT350R taking the win as 2020's Ultimate Track Car.

Whew! Now that's fast, when you can hang with a prototype in the turns and then blast past him before the halfway point of the big straightaway. Well done!

Wow, when I saw it won, I was wondering when we were going to see this.
Even more impressive than the power, the car seems utterly composed EVERYWHERE. He's not fighting it being loose on the brakes or on/off/on the throttle trying to get the rear to hook up out of the corner..............it just does whatever he asks.
