We tried drifting for the first time with iTrack Motorsports this past weekend. We had a great time with our project V8-powered Nissan 350Z. That’s Tom behind the wheel in the video.
I don't know how far you guys are from Orlando Speedworld, but they have some really good amateur drift events including the occasional introductory class.
That looks like a good start to me. Working up to limits rather than back down to them probably makes the difference between your car looking 'like a drift car' i.e. torn to S*%T, or still looking like it's worth all the effort you invested!
