I like this Winnebago.
OMG, people, GET OUT OF MY HEAD.
I came back from lunch today and told some of my coworkers that I had become quasi-obsessed with the Winnebago Brave that I see parked down the street from us. They thought I was strange. I agree, though, about the missing bathroom. I see a lot of "restored" classic trailers out there (a.k.a. canned hams) with no bathroom or shower. Those are not really restored. They're just prettied-up useless things. And if you can't handle the poop, get out of campers.
This, however, is awesome:
I wouldn't touch it, but the price is right. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/pts/4261446266.html
I'm with Margie, I love the old Brave, but they've effectively made it useless without a bathroom and shower. I like the interior idea, though. (Hate the "stance").
I have a pipe dream of winning the lotto, restoring/updating an old Brave and dropping a Cummins in it......

Westfalia owners don't think the shower and bathroom are a must-have. There are ways to cope. If you're in an RV park, both are available to you. I don't see the appeal of pooping in an enclosed sleeping and cooking area myself.
If you're in the bush, well, you can set up an open air shower and drag a chemical toilet out from a storage area (or get a shovel).
Lack of a kitchen is a bit oddball. Vintage Coleman stove?
I could care less about a shower or bathroom in a motor vehicle. Just one more thing to go wrong, clean, etc. Plus it's doo doo. I would love to have something like that to go to the races with and tail gate at football games.
I would want to ditch the 318 and drop a 7.3TD/6spd combo like in my F350. Would make a great tow rig to the track.
You people are giving me nightmares! We had one when I was younger and all I remember about was the constant breakdowns. That and the 4mpg and SLOW speeds. Nightmares people, just say no! Run away, run away!!!!
As kids we weren't allowed to poop in the camper and it really wasn't a problem, and I figured when I got around to getting a camper I wouldn't put a bathroom in. Part of roughing it is walking to the bathrooms.

My bathroom is bigger than a whole Westfalia, so its excusable. Once you get to the point of "this thing has a fixed roof I don't hit my head on", it becomes inexcusable.
In reply to Appleseed: I see you one "E36-M3-er's FULL!" And raise you one

Just replace the bed on a M35A2 with all the RV body but the front driving area.
