Well, the best way to describe driving an LMTV is driving a hot, noisy, slow metal box that sits 6 feet above the road.
In other words, AWESOME.
In the DED episode where Fred drives it, did you hear that constant metal on metal scraping sound? It's that loud in the cab all the time. When the engine cooling fan kicks on, it's deafening. There is no A/C and since you sit over the engine, it turns into a sweat box.
They are pretty slow; I maxed mine out pulling a water buffalo downhill at a scorching 58mph.
But I felt like a damn rockstar driving one
