In reply to Donebrokeit :16 years later and not a T-Bird or Swallow Doretti in sight, and the starting line they use now, slightly further up. This was turn 1 in '55.
More rain in Northern Ohio...
6pm today from my living room window
The more typical view on a typical day
We're in no immediate danger. My white house is still a good 8ft up from danger. Technically, my property is not considered to be flood plane.
When I saw this thing zooming up behind me, I had to (carefully) sneak a pic of it in the mirror. It's blurry, but the front bumper was like an off-road tube bumper for a truck, and then the grill, and the thing on the roof. Some kind of Mad Max, or weird rally car inspired Cavalier? The best part was honestly the big friggin' truck mirrors on the sides of it.
I've been enjoying the "park your car next to something cool" thread and looking for a contribution.
I saw this for the second time when I was leaving work this week. It definitely doesn't qualify as something cool (unless you're driving it, apparently) but I had to get the pictures!
Sorry about the glare. I think the wing and the Superman lettering make it work.
There's a driveline shop a couple of miles from me. This car is always parked there. Dually P71 with custom side exhaust. Finally got a shot of it.

There's a lot more going on there! Can't tell much on my phone. I would love to see some more pictures.
Unrelated obligatory photo. Sourdough, pecan, chocolate chip banana bread.

Note the same car, but this popped up on my Facebook and reminded me of your post.

If the name was any longer, they'd need a bigger ship!
Always have proper safety gear, folks
Driver is okay and walked away, because the car had a proper cage, seats, and restraints.
