We were getting ready to put in a little pepper patch, and stumbled on this skink making a nest. SWMBO gave her a cage so she and her eggs didn't get stepped on. The pepper patch is delayed for a week or so.

He was bitten pretty badly, video is on y-tube. It struck at him, which gave him the opportunity go for it, but then it did a half recoil and nailed him. He said he'd never seen that half recoil move before.
