I am in the process of building a kid hauling, Commuter, 9C1 replics…(watched too many California cop shows and COPS 2.0 of seveties B/W Impala’s screaming around corners) It has a very pinging 305 which will get a 350/400 “police” cam, (stated in the parts books as police cam,) common sense says to replace it with a 350, but I love lost causes and had very good luck putting the same cam in a friends 3/4 ton truck which woke it up and improved the gas mileage. Currently trying to improve the suspension without gaining ride height…big car…no sway bar…developing…..Ugly!
