Not out of the question, but it won't be this year most likely. Also, I forgot to get a bill of sale so there's no record of the amount for bookkeeping sake. I did talk him down to $1600, plus there's the $58 for the tow dolly rental, but that fee should be split with Chuck's build LOL.
Tow dolley rental don't count in the budget. Link to build thread?
Patience grasshopper, I must finish this beer first. Fun story, today's the day my 4Runner's exhaust gives up the ghost. Clean break going into the muffler. Muffler shop closed tomorrow. Need the empty beer can to clamp it together for now.
Valiant pickup on s10 frame, and drinking a beer to fix the Japanese car.
You are a true American. I bow before your awsomeness.

Got any initial plans or waiting for ideas to fall into place?
It looks like a real trucklet, that is an awesome "pickup" ECM. Congrats!

the perfect re-use / recycle. Better drink 2, the cans burn through fast.
Adhering to the pics or ban protocol, here are a couple pics to document the repair...
Nice clean break with a bit still sticking off of the muffler. Time to break out some tools.
We're going to use my favorite clamp making tool, the Clamp Tite. With this and some safety wire we're going to just reattach these two bits here using a Foster's can. Double thickness for added durability!
I actually berkeleyed up the middle one so y'all just pretend you don't notice that.
Good enough for now.
Glad to see someone here got the Valiant. Will watch the unfolding story with great interest...
I'm so glad this went to the right home. It's awesome!
