1978 Porsche 924 104k Moving: 1100 or trade with cash! - $1100
*104k miles on it.
New clutch, under 2k
4 speed Manual.
The title is in my name, already have my signature notarized
I have dropped it over 5k since posting it here..
I am willing to throw in up to 1000 dollars cash if you have a trade and are serious about trading. I can't take the Porsche even if I paid to get it fixed myself. Thanks and only if you're serious about buying it or trading in a matter of days call; if not I can't waste my time, sorry.
It has 100k miles so whatever you put into it is a good investment.
My loss is your gain. I am moving out of state hopefully by the 6th.
When running, runs great and shifts great due to the new clutch.
BAD: Needs starter $125 @ Autozone (from so many people coming over to see it I eventually wore it out) and fuel pump relay 35 bucks on ebay. I have a new fuel pump for you btw.
I just can't have two cars anymore. Please call or email asap!
216 798 2941 Matt.
If I don't answer my cell, I'm at work. Leave a message and I'll call back.
FYI my email is hooked up to my phone as well, thanks!
Trade: I'm open to trades if it's an SUV, Jeep Grand Cherokee, honda civic hatch, nissan pathfinder, ford explorer, toyota car with enough space for my trip. If not then make an offer or cash. *
Are these valve-smashers like the 944s?

So many people looked at this car it wore the starter out, and none of them bought it? Red flag....
NOS Flaming floor mats = +20 HP.
i must concurr with Carrera30 on the NOS floormats, it is a real boost in the pants...
That looks like a $100-car as-is.
$1100 should buy the nicest normally aspirated 78 924 in the world.

the pics arent the greatest, its hard to tell what shape it's really in.
What i do see is the timing belt cover is missing, and the fuel line and filter have been relocated, signs of a lazy mechanic imo. the plug wires, vac tubes, ect are not routed properly, probably not a big deal, but again, lazy work. the rear 1/4 panel upholstery is peeling back, signs of a hatch leak, and the luggage cover is shot (not unusual).
On the up-side, it does appear to have a front euro bumper, and a rear reflective filler panel, those alone can be worth between $200-$300.
$1100 is not a completely unrealistic price (much better than the $6200? he was asking!) if "all" it needs is a starter and FPR, but i have my doubts, and wouldn't give more than $800 IF those parts were replaced and the car was running. as it sits, $500 tops, maybe...

Nope. I'd still rather have a 944 though...
