1986 c900 2 door hatch race car aka "SaabZilla"

-2.0 liter 8v engine, 5 spd trans -NGK plugs,Bougicord (Saab OE spec) wires, new cap/ rotor - custom built roll cage -radiator, head gasket, water pump, valve cover gasket, right front caliper, both rear calipers/ pads have been replaced since I got the car in late '06 - Dual electric fans - 5" Autometer tach with Sunpro water and voltmeter gauges - front shocks - KYB - rear shocks - Bilstein -custom side exit exhaust welded with no muffler -new roll bar padding - 5 pt safety harness dated April of '06 - comes with one 185/65r15 Yokohama AVID HS4 and three 195/65r15 Falken Ziex 512 tires on the car.I also have a 195/60r15 Dunlop Sport 01 and a couple other street tires mounted on wheels - also various other parts, spare head, air meter ,exhaust manifolds, wheels, etc

Now the bad.. the car has some surface rust, but as far as I can tell, the frame is in decent shape. It has been raced so the body is not perfect and currently it does not run. I got it to stumble on ether the other day and that was it. The fuel pump works and there is fuel pressure.I've also replaced the warm up regulator as well. I just don't have the knowledge/tools to work on CIS and know what I'm doing.

The car has 2 Top 5 finishes at Twin State Speedway and was 10th in 2007 points.

I'm asking $800 for everything minus the seat that's in it. The car is located in Claremont, NH

You could push it from NH to Chicago for free...might take a while and make your legs tired though.

Don't really have a spare 800 bucks, but that is tempting and pretty close to me. It has disposable hillclimber written all over it. Also have a spare 9000t sitting in my yard...wonder if things are compatible.

That would be fun to flog around. Local, too. Too bad my $800 must go elsewhere at this time.

The 9000 engine, if it's a '90 or older B202, won't work without tearing it down and adding end plates from a 900 B202. If the engine is a 2.3L, then it won't fit, ever, as (a) it's not laid over 45* like the B201s and B202s; and (b) the crank will hit the top of the transmission.

Oh dear.... i don't think i would have ever guessed that that was what you had in mind in your emails....

I desperately tried yesterday to talk the guy with the MX6 turbo down to $500, that would have been special.

I've also got a line in on a 1994 Escort GT with 301k miles. I think it's too nice for BABE, though.

I'll shoot you an email from work tomorrow.
