Hi Everyone, We moved to Peru and we left our 2000 GMC Safari (Astro van) behind.
It is for sale for $1,700.
It is in very good shape. We used it up until the day we left. It runs great. I think it is rated to tow 5,000 lbs. The seats come out easily so you could tow your racecar and sleep in the back. It needs: A new fuel injector, AC compressor clutch and It has a SMALL coolant leak from the radiator or one of the hoses. The leak is so small that I can't see where it is coming from. The tires and front breaks are less than a year old. It has 139K and the engine was replaced at 101K with a 35K engine. So the engine has 73K on it (I have the reciept for the engine). The injector has the typical CPI leak that only affects starting when it is warm. You won't need to replace it if you don't mind holding your foot to the floor and cranking an extra 1-2 seconds when you start it. The check engine light is NOT on. Google the problem. It is very common.
Aside from these three things the van is in very good shape. Sadly these make it worth very little.
It is in Fort Mill, SC 29708, which is 2 miles south of the Charlotte, NC border.
let me know if you are interested and I will give you the contact info. My friend has the signed title and it is ready to go.
Thanks, Christian
