Yep, spring is in the air, the bikes are starting to come out and I need to finance a Challenge car.

1975 Yamaha XS-650 with a hardtail that's been stretched 5". Stock forks up front. Harley Fat Bob tanks, foot brake and clutch, suicide shifter & beach bars. 21" front wheel and Honda 750 16" at the rear, drum brakes on both so plan ahead. The engine ran/runs, carbs are rebuilt but off, stock throttle included and works.

This is a project; it's all there and mostly done, but Jesse James says the last 10% of any project takes 90% of the time. I have the stock electrical harness which needs to be laid on, you need paint, tires, some mufflers (or not) and a rear fender in my State.

Asking $1150. My garage is full and I don't need another project but will listen to entertaining swaps.

Located near Albany, NY.

You have no idea how bad I want to buy that from you. You're a little too far away luckily. If you still have it at challenge time though...............

I've been looking for an XS650 locally and they don't seem to be the easiest things to find. Very fair price for anyone considering building one of these bikes.

If you've got a very long van or short school bus to swap, you could drive it up.

Nope. Don't have one.

I have been considering buying a short bus for a camper though. What are your plans for it?
