I love it. An early small bumper car. I've been looking for one with the 1600 engine so I could thow in a SMF. The 1600 would go to some evil British car transplant after some massaging.

That one has a 2.0L OHC engine not the British crossflow motor. $1600 is the price not the engine displacement. The crossflow Pintos seem to be very rare.
In reply to ArthurDent:
I don't think he was claiming that it was a 1600, just that he was looking for one with a 1600.
In reply to Woody:
Sounds like it's more powerful. The 1600 was a Kent engine, which they make a lot of performance parts for. They are also popular to use in British sports cars.
I sent the seller an email and he's going to send me more pictures. If they look good, I may pick this one up for my kid.

Did he do something to make you angry?
Only about an hour away from me. Good thing I'm such a cheap mofo, otherwise I'd be getting my answer to "why the hell did you buy a PINTO??" ready...
Man! I was just there this past weekend visiting the In-Laws. I really want a small bumper one to drop the Zetec into. Fab some motor mounts and you're almost there...
Hey, I called first dibs!!! Just waiting for pics from the seller, and I'll be going to look at it on Saturday. SO BACK OFF, HOMIES!!!
Like I said, I'm too damn cheap to get it.
But.
We're supposed to have more snow Friday night into Saturday, so be careful on your drive down. You're probably...three hours or so away?
You'll need to log in to post.
