Meh.
Close enough. He called it "Festy"and I never really cared to look too close. Or care.

Well crap, I thought it was long gone.
Now I'm going to be trying to figure out how to come up with 2 grand as I fall asleep...

Is there a good resource somewhere that can tell me about easy suspension/brake/motor swap options available for these things?
I've always liked these, never bothered to learn about them, and really don't have time for a big scary project, but really wouldn't mind slapping something together to flog and enjoy.
The only problem is that i was also offered a minty B2200 shell last week.

I'm not really sure, but the Zetec is a pretty popular swap, and they raced the E36 M3 out of them in Europe so I know suspension parts are available.
This place is in England, but they seem to have just about everything you'd ever need. http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-fitment-type/parts-by-car-model-ford/ford-fiesta.html?cat=2304
I told someone about your car this past weekend and he seemed interested so maybe he'll contact you. I would be all over this if I had the room to park it until I had time to play with it. Evansville, IN is not that far from Chicago.
great car - I have driven from Joliet to Evansville and back in one day - it's a long ride down Rt 41.....although it might be sweeter towing home this
G'ahh where was this two weeks ago when I was buying this ZX2?
Car-part shows only one running engine left in the country, it'd definitely need something bigger.
Good god I want this and I'm not even sure why??!?!!?
I have no place to park it, no time to work on it, and no desire to acquire another project to languish. But it's so cool!
