IIRC, Vauxhall, Opel and Holden all had fairly serious motorsports efforts on their versions of the T chassis. I wonder if any of those could be duplicated on a US Chevette with parts readily available here?

On a related note, I've long had a crazy desire to build an extreme Iron Duke engine. Balanced & blueprinted, custom head work, forced induction and/or ITBs. I imagined this engine in an S10, but a manual Chevette would actually be a much better home for an engine like that

not a clue about the parts. that one was destined for a 2.5 dodge out of a Dakota or another smallblock swap. here in the rust belt most of them have either returned to the earth or got derby'd.
