I'll try to make this story as short as possible.
All new within 5K miles: TME/IPD sport springs, new rubber & poly suspension bushings, Bilstein HD shocks/struts, exhaust system (cat back), brakes front and rear, brand new tires, less than 500 miles on them.
I gave this car to my sister 18 months ago when she needed a car for college. The alternator died and she replaced it, but unknowingly dropped an intake hose clip into the intake. Engine sucked it up and killed the head and a piston. I got the car back and parked it for about 6 months. I then bought a low mile (90K mile) running B230FT last summer from a totaled '93 (oil squirters!) and installed it. It would start but would run very rough. I haven't had much time to diagnose and now having gotten married and bought a house, I'll never have time to figure it out (its been parked in the garage mostly untouched since last fall). My sister is joining the Peace Corp and will no long have a need for a vehicle, and has since gotten another anyway, so I want it gone. My guess is maybe the '93 turbo isn't compatible (I have the original '91 turbo still), or the fuel pump went out, I have no idea and no time to find out. I also have a couple boxes of spare parts I'll throw in, anything Volvo can go with it, I'm out of the Volvo scene currently.
I want what I have in the engine and some of the suspension, so looking for $800, no less.
Car has new brakes, new exhaust, good condition, no rust, needs nothing other than the engine to run and it will again be a great daily driver. 250K miles on chassis and everything else, other than the new engine.
