“Boost controller”, or the old-school aquarium-valve trick? I used to have...something...I’ll search for it today.
Edit: Found it - will this thing work for you? I picked it up off the side of the road years ago for this exact purpose(despite the fact I didn’t own a turbo car at the time, nor have I since). Though I’ve never tested it either.

It still hasn't shipped according to them but it's currently bolted to my car.
Not visiting a drag strip all year coupled with some overexuberance (alcohol related spelling) screwed me well and apparently not painting it
