I like the place. It's fun and has the best info. Honestly has a signal:noise ratio higher than any other forum i've ever been on.
BUT if you don't do things the ACCEPTED way, you WILL get flamed. Find the dude that built a 300+hp NB with "aids" and a supra turbo. He was told he would blow it up by no end of people. Mainly because he was only using a AEM FIC instead of a MS.
Last I saw he sold the setup because he was going bigger using the same fuel management system.
LOTS of information there, but you have to dig through a lot of crap to get to it. I've had an account there for going on 4 or 5 years now, I think I have 25 posts. 1 of which was telling some poor sod that he was being trolled and needed to take what he was being told with a grain of salt.
I stuck up for the turbo in that thread. Hate the FIC, and his motor absolutely would not last if that car were actually driven.
Dunno... The flyby videos with him loosing traction in third were rather amusing.
And I forgot that you did defend that turbo in that thread.

It is absolutely. It's the worst automotive site on the internet for treating new users with any kindness or respect.
If you need turbo Miata info just go to the turbo section on miata.net. They're helpful and kind.

If I want to know something about turboing a miata, MT is the place I read. if I want to know about micro-waxing my marker lights, then M.net is the place to go.
