I just pulled into home at 11am local. It took an hour longer on the way home in the van vs. the trip over in the rental car. 13mpg vs. driving a rental Corolla will do that though.

Listening to the soothing drone of the rambling canexican. Hoping to get home in time for kid-pile.
So awesome to meet so many forum members. Shut it down with Stampie and co. around 4, I think.
We're going to hit my house at about 3:30, unload the truck of my stuff, go to dallas place and finish unloading, then i get home to stay. Probably be 8:30-9pm.....
Slept until 10 am in a jacksonville hotel. made it to SC now and had to stop for a rest. Won't get home until after midnight at this rate. Trying to be safe and responsible though.
Lil Stampie and I made it home by noon and Grandma Stampie made it home just now. Don't know how poopshovel made vodka and ginger ale seem like a good idea at 3am.

Congrats! :) I met my wife at a costume party, as well. 41 years ago, I think.
I think we're leading the pack of northerners
I95 above Richmond is currently a cluster the alternatives are worse
Just unloaded my crap at the house, headed to dallas place and finish unloading the truck. Then grab my truck and go home.
Made it home last night at 11.30 and then came back half way to buy a SE-R from scott ervin. great event.
Trailer is safely behind the gate at Hoopes's house and we're in orlando. We're generally the last to check in at home.
Got home in time to unload the mule and truck with Richard's help before Pat showed up with his trailer. Pat, Richard and I grabbed a fresh fish lunch in Dunedin before Pat headed off to Orlando. Richard and I watched the end of the F1 race then chilled until I dropped him at Tampa Airport for his flight to Toronto.
Checking in. Been home for a few hours, unloaded, and prepping for the return to reality coming up at 5:45am
Departed at 4:00 am
Got the RV rig back to Rick's place about 10pm and home at 11:30 for myself.
Hyw closure due to accident near Elkin, NC cost us over an hour of small road detour bs. Aside from that it was slow and steady the whole way. The weather was great with only one slight rain and aside from the accident traffic, generally, traffic was light.
Glad you made it back, John.
For those who stayed in FL an extra couple days: There were as many cops going back as there were coming down in FL/GA, and we saw lots of folk out the car.
Also, do not succumb to the evil temptress that is the jumbo tabasco slim-jim.
Wife and I got home to our girls waiting for us last night at a little after 6pm (thanks to Indiana crashes and closures). 1868 miles door to door to door. Butt's a little numb.... those seats dont have a lot of padding on the bottom.
My son and I pulled into the driveway at 8:24 PM last night, exactly 15 hours after leaving the hotel. We were stopped for 112 minutes for two meals, two gas stops and two pee breaks and covered 1048 miles through 6 states in that time. There were very few cops on duty yesterday.
