I think that was the CX. I don't remember exactly what the VX was, other than having nifty wheels.
CX was the base model. VX was the high fuel economy model. I think it had some form of VTEC. I think this is easier to swap a VTEC engine into.
THis one most likely has bad transmission case bearings, not just a throwout bearing. It's a known issue for this generation. They can usually be driven INDEFINATELY with no issues. I want it too, but I know it will be gone by the time I get off work.
Yup. The VX has the "VTEC-E" motor, with uber-lean-burn - as lean as 22:1. It's my holy grail of hypermilers, and I must own one. The teeny-tiny wheels and tires and low weight make them surprisingly tossable and almost fun to drive. 50 MPG is easily attainable. Anybody wanna buy an 87 Civic Si? :)
Damn it. I'm looking for one, too. Just don't have the time right now to make it down. It's likely already gone, too.
" SUNDAY WILL BE THE BEST DAY FOR ME TO SELL THE CAR" you have time, just be there at 5:30am sun morning. If I wasn't trying to put together a grand for a truck atm, I would be all over the wife to go grab this. Those are seriously fun cars, they are gears SO flat you can run 70 in second gear and you don't even think you're near redline, the motor just keeps winding out.
