While the price, for the condition, is good, I think this series of Toyota truck was about the worse they made. Yeah, they are probably tough as old boots, but they are also as ugly as old boots. The snot green color isn't a big attraction, either, and while it probably wouldn't make economic sense, I'd ditch the 4 speed.
In other words, Datsun's truck in that time period was a better choice then, and probably now, also.
I went to College with a guy who built one of these into a Street Prepared Solo II truck and took it to Nationals. I would love to see somebody do that again.

Old boots...ugly...? Does not compute.
This thing, aside from the dent - and I might even think that's an appropriat modification - is just about perfect. And if it wouldn't cost almost as much to bring this thing back to St. Louis, and if the salt here in the winter wouldn't make it disappear in a matter of years, I'd own this truck.
And it seems damned cheap.
I had one of these trucks when I live'd UT bought it for $50 it was fun, I beat the crap out of it and it kept on going. ....I call'd him Spot of course not much of him was not coverd in rust.
Ugly is subjective. If I hit the lottery today, I'd be parking this Toyota in my driveway directly next to MiatarPowar's '72 Saab.

boost it and put in a 5-speed and it's all good!
