Date for this years challenge?

I realize its early but im determined to make it this year challenge and want to plan around it

Sorry my wife is my date for the event, she may even build her own car for it one day because ive corrupted her.

Although with your open mindedness im sure you will be snapped up if you put yourself out there, maybe throw an ad in the $2000 Challenge forum lol

I told the wife I’m going this year. I am not allowed to build a car but I’m sure there’s a team I can piggyback on that wouldn’t mind a hack wrench or gopher. 

If it works I might bring the truck down.

So to schedule vacation time, I should plan on taking thursday off for travel, yes? I think I'll put that in.

Yes. 

Some people will arrive Wednesday evening. Thursday supper time is about as late as I would like to be (to hang out with people)

If you want to be involved in the parking lot build, plan to be there early Thurs morning. 

We find arriving Wednesday afternoon gives some mental relaxation time.  Arriving Thursday evening and waking up to be at track early friday sucks

We are planning on making it a roadtrip adventure since ill be more than likely driving the longest distance by far. Originally i think i planned on 2 or 3 days in gainsville before the challenge

For those not paying much attention, it’s 283 days to the challenge.  I put all if this years vacations on the calendar and started checking local autoX and test and tune schedules.  I’d like to get some testing on the car and shake off a lot of rust before the event.
