Yep pretty much. I have a 1990 MX6 GT Turbo. It's boosted to the moon and back with 192k miles on original motor and quite possibly the original clutch. Oh, and original transmission. They're incredibly durable, and will go incredibly fast for peanuts.

And half the torque at best. That one less cam makes it that much simpler. So there you go! It's simpler, easier to work on, stronger, and eleventy-billion % more awesome.
I own a turbo BP car, remember? The turbo BP car gets annihilated by the F2T car despite the F2T car running half the pressure and weighing more.
