351c is spoken for. heads are gone as well. Put em on craigslist... 5 hours and $75 later they are no longer my problem. Apparently i found the ONE guy in this county who is doing a bone stock resto of an 87 mustang. He was thrilled.

Steve, I've got a buddy that's going to try and get the motor loaded into his truck. I think there's a Fox that needs it. If we don't use it, I'll let you know.
Red, apologies for dropping off the board for a bit. Can you email or text me an address? Been trying to find another pair of hands to help getting the motor loaded.

I am looking for one too.
Sorry guys, wish you had seen it last week. We needed the engine gone between Thursday and now - someone did pick it up on Friday.
Reviving this thread, I was in the area of the garage RedGT needed cleaned out pronto so I loaded everything into the bed of my F350 and hauled it home. I don't need most of it, and a lot of it is scrap, but if anyone here is interested in any of it, come and make me offers. Still have:
-A Ford engine of some type. Appears to be a 351C or 351M from my limited Ford knowledge, possibly a 400M. Definitely not a small block or big block. We ran a 400 in our LeMons car for awhile and it looks alot like that. The engine does turn over and seems to have compression.
-Two transmissions, appear to be either C6 or FMX. Missing some parts. Scrapyard will give me $40 each for them so make me an offer over that and they're yours.
-Engine hoist, non-collapsible. It does work, but only pumps up about half way. Seems to hold weight, so it may just need more fluid.
-Big honking aluminum fuel tank. Knowing this crowd, probably less useful as a big honking fuel tank, and more useful as 6 big honking sheets of aluminum. Hmm...may find a use for that...
Located in zip 21158 but I go to Baltimore daily so I could meet you between there and there. Engine, fuel tank, and trannies are still in my truck.

Works for me. Hope you get some cash out of the stuff you can't use.
Updated first post. I owe a final shipping quote to the guy who was first in line to take the headers and have not gotten to it because of general holiday busy-ness. And a little bit of "they're buried under the race car and I wanted to fix the rally car instead of cramming headers in a box", sorry dude.
In reply to RedGT:
If I do manage to rehome the usable stuff before I get sick of it being in my truck and cart it off to the recyclers, I'll owe you a beer or 6. Also, I need to measure the mounting surface on that engine- I did some research and if the top two bolt holes are ~6" apart, it's a Cleveland; if ~8 inches, it's a 351M or 400. So sayeth the internets, anyway.
Speaking of Ford engine bits, if anyone is in the I-95 Philly area and could use a pair of 351M heads, let me know. Free.
Sold the engine. Turns out it was a 351 Cleveland. A guy from the next town over has a '69 Mustang and wanted to build a replacement engine for it. The engine was date coded 1970. 2V, so not super valuable, but still, glad it went to a good home.
The two transmissions are C6's, the Cleveland engine buyer told me. One appears to be for a Cleveland (same bolt hole spacing) but he didn't want it (already had 3, he told me). The other C6 looks like it'll work behind a 335 or 385 block engine (351M/400 or 429/460). I may keep the 460-compatible one, since our LeMons car runs a 460, but the other one is useless to me. First $40 takes it! The engine hoist has gathered some interest, but no serious buyers yet. Just craigslist BS.
EDIT: I forgot the one C6 does have "390 Mercury" written on it. So it's probably an FE engine C6. The other C6 has the finned case, which means that it's for a 335/ 385 block engine. It's definitely not an FMX trans, those had separate bell housings.
