FS: 1990 VW Corrado DE car lots of spares - $2012

I unfortunately am in a financial situation that is forcing me to sell my track toy.

The stats:

1990 VW Corrado G60

Engine:
Stock with the exception of a lightened flywheel and 2.5" TT/Borla exhaust
180K miles
Charger has been rebuilt, but do not know the mileage, still has stock pulley with new belt

Transmission:
Stock

Suspension/hubs:
VR6 arms/axles/tie rods FK Streetline coilovers
Rear O-bar in rear beam
No front sway
New front wheel bearings and 5x100 hubs(1 weekend on them)

Brakes:
Swapped to non-ABS brakes
VR6 11.3" setup
Hawk HP+s with 3 weekends on them

Chassis:
Interior/wiring removed
4 point Auto-power rollbar
Kirkey aluminum 18" seats, driver and passenger
G-Force 6 point harnesses, driver and passenger

HP: 123whp
Torque: 140ftlbs.
Weight: 2280lbs. with full tank/no driver

Comes with a ton of spares:
6 spare 8v heads(a couple of JH, RV, and PG heads)
16v 1.8L PL head and block
ABA OBD1 block with a TDi 95.5 crank, no rods or pistons
Complete ABA OBD2 short block
1.6L 8v short block
An extra PG/G60 short block
Complete RV engine with most of the accessories
Spare 02A transmission
Brospeed 8v header
A couple of performance cams(can't remember the specs)
2 spare left fenders
2 spare right fenders

I would have no problem dragging this car out to another track weekend, but things that should be addressed:
Despite the car having all new brake components, the stock distribution/proportioning block acts up a little when under braking, could use new brake line circuitry

Cooling fan should be put on a on/off switch as it works intermittently

Could use a little bit of tidying up behind the dash with the wiring.

Damn man sucks you have to sell. Wish I could afford it or better yet wish I could store it for you but SWMBO might kill me if we got more yard art.

I have seen and helped work on this car personally and can vouch this is a great running car. This is a screaming deal! The spares alone is worth $2000, then you basically get a free car! I'm passing the word around for you, hopefully we can get this sold for you.

Also, I forgot to mention that I have a spare new OEM windshield still in the wrapping. Those are getting "as rare as hen's teeth" as I have heard someone put it before.

So glad you're 900 miles away... SWMBO loves Corrados... although she hates yellow cars. Still... this car might tempt her into trying auto-x again and maybe some hill-climbing... I wonder how hard it would be to complete the cage...

I hate to ask... but was the car built towards any sort of rule set? IT? Production? Is the car weather-tight - door glass still work?

I believe it is legal in NASA GTS4 and/or SCCA ITB.

It would basically be in NASA GTS, more realistically 2 instead of 4. Thats was eventually the plan, if I continued in to W2W. Getting it to be SCCA legal as far as road racing would be tricky. The last time I saw the rule book, they only had VR6s in IT and I doubt it qualifies for any Production racing. Everyone in Production seems to run either Sciroccos or GTIs.

The car is weather tight. That being said, the windows, regulators, and motors are all there as well as two wires coming off of each motor, everything else is gone. I use a jumpbox to roll the windows up and down.

No worries... She shot down the idea anyway.
