PS.. It's probably a good 100# lighter now since when it was weighed the doors were stock, stock dash and all the heater defrost crap was there.

Cool. I didn't know you guys were in Kingston!
I used to live on Hwy 15, just by the military base. Lapped with Thousand Island Zed Club and St. LAC. I still crew for a car with St. LAC occasionally.
Holy hell!!!! That is a freaking steal...

Hah! Awesome.
I used to love Marc's 300ZX with the water-cooled brakes. Although I never drove it, it was a blast from the passenger seat around SMP. His Q45-powered 240Z seems to be a suitable replacement though!
(BTW, I crew for Bob Armstrong - Jeff Fleming and Marc have made lots of parts for the #33 and #44 NX2000s)

What?! Did not know that. I'll pass that on to a mutual friend (in K-town). He'll be disappointed. I hope the car stayed in the city at least!
Ok, thread derail - I'll go back on topic - consider it another free bump!

The car is actually in Halifax. marc had constant cooling problems with it. Very small work, a friend of mine out there actually saftied it and said it's on the road.
If it was in kingston, I have a guy that wants to check it out.. but it being in Halifax makes it too much of a drive for him.
any chance of it coming home, if it doesn't sell?
I am ok with going 1400 miles for a car. I am even ok with going to Canada. I never knew what my limit was and I think its 1400 miles and going into Canada twice just to get the car.

Just to be clear, we're talking about another car here, NOT the car for sale.
I'm going to assume the car for sale in this thread is in Kingston, which is north of Watertown NY, and 2.5 hours east of Toronto.
P.S. I moved to Halifax after I lived in Kingston!
Wow, beautiful looking car for that price. If you were within 500 miles of Florida, I'd figure out a way to take it from you.
So if its in Kingston that means its only 370 miles away. Mmm. Anybody know anything about bringing cars from Canada into the US? Gonna have to hit google.

Proper term probably "Dzus.....d." Or "Fastened with a Dzus fastener."

Thanks for the clarification.
My google research tells me it would be a giant pain to bring a car into the US from Canada. One less than 25 years old and modified would be even less enjoyable. Sad.
Nice car. Too far away.
My daughter has new braces instead...

Interesting.
I wonder if it would be any different if the car attended a race in the US and somehow never went back north...
back to the thread
I don't think it's as big a deal as it sounds, particularly if you're not getting the car titled.
In reply to Sil80redtop:
Not having a title on a car is illegal in a lot of places. In MO, I think that if you have a car on a trailer, the police can stop and ask for paperwork. If you don't have documents your car can be impounded.
