Build thread here.

The price for the car and everything that goes with it is $2014. I am negotiable by about $14, but I also like dumb cars, and motorcycles.

Here’s what you get: A big pile of American Hoonage

-Running, driving 1991 Mustang RallyCross car with a PA Certificate of Salvage.
-Fuel injected 302 w/ Trick Flow Aluminum Heads, intake, exhast, roller rockers.
-WC T5 with a nearly new clutch.
-Steeda 5-link rear.
-Torsen T2R differential.
-Sparco Sprint seat.
-Tokico shocks.
-2 sets of springs: stock and lowering springs of unknown origin.
-1991 GT swaybars.
-Subframe connectors, strut tower bars.
-Lightweight PMGR starter, Braille Battery.
-4x Basset Steel 15” wheels w/ 2x rally tires, 2x mud tires.
-Additional 2x rally tires, 2x mud tires.
-A box of parts previously removed from the car.
-The rear hatch.

You know you want this. It could be made back into CP autocross car fairly easily, or street legal in some states, or go to the Challenge, or part it out, but- what it is REALLY, REALLY GOOD AT is scaring the absolute poop out of you and everyone else at a RallyCross, while simultaneously making you the crowd favorite and clearing the course of all outside cones. In a perfect world with infinite time and money, I would keep doing exactly that with it, but now it’s someone else’s turn.

Oh. Holy. Crap. I want that. No tow vehicle available, and no rallycrosses within a 2-hour drive anyway. Suxx0rs.

Look up your state laws about registering salvage vehicles- it would be pretty easy to make this pass a standard PA "classic" inspection, but not the "enhanced" PA salvage vehicle inspection, for example.

edit- found the bird in question- I would need cash on top but maybe we could work something out. PM me to discuss if that sounds like a possibility.

I'm terribly interested in the suspension setup on this. I still want to make a Mustang Rallycross car, but it will be (shudder) an automatic, most likely.

What are you getting to replace this beast?

Wow. That looks like a heck of a ride!

It looks like a Rallycross alchemy machine. You put dirt in the front end and cones fly out the back end.

It should be mentioned that, if you want to pay for fuel, I will deliver this car by driving it to you via a Roadkill style misadventure.

For best visual impact, the big mud tires will fit up front as well

Talk to me about the title issue, I am new to PA and do not understand how a salvage title works.

BTW: The nice people in the DC SCCA were talking about you on Sunday

That is a very fun looking car! Steal of a price!

In reply to Donebrokeit:

The title issue is that the car is branded as "salvage." This means that, in PA and most other states, it requires an "enhanced inspection" to be registerable and gain a "rebuilt" title. What that inspection entails varies from state to state, typically the forms stating the requirements can be found online.

So is it still available? What would it cost for you to make it appear in champaign il? Or when do you need it gone?

In reply to nocones:

To drive it or trailer it would be expensive, this is not an efficient vehicle (and neither is my tow pig). Shipping might be the best option- or, if you wanted to pick it up, it could live here for a while (with a down payment of course).

I will have an answer tonight. I must look at my schedule and consider things realistically.

What wheels does it come with? How much of the CP suspension stuff is still with it?

NONACK
NONACK Reader

It now comes only with the Bassetts- I sold the rest. Everything that was on it (suspension wise) as a CP car is either included or still attached.
