Last night the latest issue of the magazine was waiting for me in the mail at home. Great issue as usual. The car that interested me a lot but I don't think I heard about before was the '78 Fairmont. That car looked awesome! Seemed like the team ran out of time so wasn't able to really compete at the level they had wanted to. Is a team member on the forum? Thought it was one of the best Fairmont's I had seen in a while.
Really not much to add beyond "I think your car looked cool" but if there's a build thread or something like that I'd love to look through it.

Nothing really key, just thought it was a cool car. Only saw one picture of it though. Have a build thread? What were the goals; do well at the drags, or the autox, or just have a good time? What engine is in it? What would you do differently next time?
I'm killing time at a desk I'm about to vacate in a couple of days and it'd be great to hear more about the car or see better photos of.
I hated the Fairmont when it came out. But there are so many fun things you can do with one, without looking like the fox body 5.0 crowd. Would love to have one today!
