First $700.00 takes this awesome 1995 Ford Aspire. New clutch, new used transmission with custom 4th gear, lightweight hatch option, new brakes, new bearings, red top valve cover, synthetic fluids. It even comes with tires AND wheels!
This vehicle can drive right home today, it has many electrical (lighting only) wiring issues, the transmission will not stay in 4th gear and I screwed up and busted out the rear window.
The car is a little crusty but is straight and mostly solid. It would be a great start as a rallycross terd.

It is at my father in laws and if I had the space I would swap a 2.0L into the rear and supercharge it.

If Dave decides to only run backwards with no mirrors I would bet it stands a chance... with me driving. Dave makes a bunch of difference in the seat as well.

I am pretty sure it will drive there, wether it gets dark or cold is your risk...
cold I am not worried about. as for dark, I am bringing some wiring stuff to "creatively engineer" the lighting situation...hopefully...
if not, I have a couple big flashlights I can duct tape to the hood....

picked it up yesterday, proceeded to drive 300ish miles trouble free (relatively). I even loaded it with 4 rims and tires for the LeMons Mustang. At speed it isnt that cold, but there is a short somewhere because the heater, lights, and windshield wipers are "intermittent"...good thing I am used to LBC's
pretty fun to have a manual again, and you drive completely different when you have to plan out your hill climbing attempts.
going to look for a hatch for it tomorrow. wish me luck.

naw, it is actually pretty capable in the snow if you are easy on the clutch in first....I had to rock it at a couple of stop signs. so far she is solid as a brick...and the SO actually aproves of it. lol. I knew I loved her for some reason.
Hell MY wife approved of it but I needed to be up and running quicker than that car would have allowed.
Also, check the front engine mount bolts... I really think I may have left a nut off. (there was an extra in my toolbox and the ONLY thing it could have come from was the Aspire because the Miata stuff is all reassembled.
