You are confusing things by referring to the "overall length".
A flatbed trailer is measured by the bed length, and excludes the tongue. It would, however, include the beaver tail (when applicable).
You said it has a 12 1/2' deck. Does that include the beaver tail?
I think what you have there is a 14' trailer, not an 18' trailer.
There's no beaver tail.

It'd be not too difficult to turn mine into a 16 footer. The tongue in insanely long.
Is my price too high? I'm being serious. Looking for honest opinions. With repairs and improvements I have more than 2k in it but that's my problem.

You haven't posted any price. I know you said $2017 or less, but that's too nebulous.
You haven't posted any pics. You posted a link to another trailer that is not yours.
Your thread is outdated. The first post says you would like to trade for an enclosed trailer, but I am pretty sure you already have one.
Your details are sketchy. Not clear descriptions, items which could be an asset (like a winch), described as broken or questionable.
Some of your information is apparently incorrect (like calling it an 18' trailer). Can't tell for sure- might be able to with pictures.
It sounds like this is a very unique trailer that can't be compared to many others. A 12' deck with an 8' tongue is pretty odd, and not that useful to car guys. Can't tell for sure- might be able to with pictures.
Bottom line- start over. Start a clean thread with a good description, an actual asking price, and pictures. Your price might be fine, but your presentation is convoluted, and most of us don't know what you are selling.
Oh, and 10,000# rating on 6 lug wheels is possible, but unlikely. The ability to tow a Tahoe does not confirm this, since Tahoes weigh much less than 10,000#. Can't tell for sure- pictures might help. (Pic of a rating tag, or dimension of diameter of the axle tube would confirm)

BUt that is in GA and a new 28' enclosed there is under 5k and up here they are 8k. GA is the land of cheap trailers!
