A bit over the 20xx price, but I am betting if you show up with 2000 it would be yours. NMNA

I've seen Monty Aeros but never a Pontiac. Wonder how many were made.

I admit it, I really like these.

If the rear glass is good, it alone is worth more than the asking price. It would make a fun track/autox toy, done up in some 80's Nascar paint scheme.

If you could somehow work some tight handling into it, it would be a riot.

Back when they were new, we used to refer to those things as Monte Carlo Thunderbirds, because that was why they existed.

Never really liked them. I can't imagine a bigger waste of money than 20k on an 80s MOnte Carlo. That said, this was the end of Nascar. From then on, we have the tube frame fakes. NOthing stock in Nascar now. Hell, some of the tech in that 80s MC is probably newer than today's Nascar.

20 grand for a car with only 9000 miles on it? EH, you could do worse.

What did these have, 305s?

I love these. They are super rare, and yes, they came with the LG4 305, but who cares? Swap in you high-winding SBC of choice, a T56, and build a G-Machine out of it!

Honestly, as rare as they are, the best thing to do would probably be to restore it to stock and take it to Barrett-Jackson. Then take the proceeds and buy one of a billion generic 80s G-bodies to turn into a track car.

Those rear windows and the quickly cobbled interior trim to fit them are so rare that one day we'll all cry when we hear what someone will pay for those pieces. Should buy this just for the rear glass.

I think that I've only ever seen one of these Pontiacs in the flesh, I think they look much nicer than the Monty-aero.

These were only made for a 1/2 model year?

I admittedly like the Aero Coupes better, but these are so rare and weird that I also love them. There's a local guy that has a tan interior Aero Coupe, which is the rarest of the rare.

I'd toss an aluminum Pontiac mill in this 2+2, repaint it the Petty colors, get some huge steelies, and dominate everything.

They made 1200, who knows how many are left. I've only seen a couple nice ones, most are a mess.
