Mail carrier cars lead rough lives, but I can't think of a car that could wear it as well. Saturns run fo-eva!
Even though the article says the SWP (postal) was based on the SW2, I believe that is a lie. I am pretty sure postal Saturns were single cam.
All highway? When I was a mail carrier ALL my miles were stop-and-go. Rural carriers (like the ones that have to use their own vehicles like this) have a lot of miles on dirt roads too in MI. Plus, the worst of salty roads, every year.

exactly. the description by the dealer made me LOL. and it looks like it's got non-body-color bumpers, which would indicate SW1 as well, yes?

But they're highway miles. Just really slow ones.

IIRC you cant - no RHD clutch hydraulics. Well, you could, but it would involve custom work only to make a car that is less practical than an SW2.

No, No, No !!!! One of those inflatable dolls from those stores where you wouldn't want your mother to catch you !

Duuuuuuuuuude.
Wish I'd thought of that when I had access to these.

It would all boil down to if the firewall was punched for the clutch master or not, and if the pedal box was the same LHD vs. RHD. The hydraulics should be cake - just cut and splice the plastic line. You can do it all professional-like with the press tool (similar to the AN blue hose tool) or they make compression fittings for plastic line now.
At that point, you're just really being different to be different.

It's not JDM, it's a postal vehicle. Saturn sold right hand drive S-series and L-series in the US to anybody who wanted one.
First time you go through a tollbooth, or a drive-through that isn't a Rally's, you may not want it anymore.

Pretty sure it was joke.
Drivethru's would be an easy problem to solve.. Just go through backwards.
I had to do that for a while when I was teaching my wife not to YELL over me... I just backed through so she could see the mic wasn't so far away.. Only had to do it a couple times to get things under control..
Now every so often we go through backwards just for fun... wait... errr... yeah.. uhh...
