Woody, ummmm.....let's see, really nasty chemical next to a water supply where endangered wildlife live. Now, what's wrong with that picture.
According to research done in the late 1980s and early 1990 (Ecotoxicological Risk Assessment for Roundup Herbicide), glyphosate in ecological exposures studied is "practically nontoxic to slightly toxic" for amphibians and fish.
It's gotta be better for the manatees than a bunch of MGs.

Can't miss the billboard. I would gladly make the drive if I could get out of work. I even have a recent tetanus shot. MGs for everyone.

Karl,
Can you just do this with the cars that are mostly intact?
Year/Make/Model/Title(yes/no)
Because I am pretty sure nobody can figure it out.
You're going to get the hardcore among us to come out, but the rest might be more interested if you could lay it all out a bit.
its coming the 28 th we are getting it together ......... i really have not parted one single car all are as aquired complete

This is basically what we are going to be doing on Saturday the 28th. There is way too much for this to be done solo so I'm putting a team together to do it. The plan is to get cars clear, check VIN / Title status and do a quick assessment on condition (1-10) and mark details on windscreen with grease pen. There is a lot of work to do here and I just ask that everyone who is interested be patient until we get past the 28th. If people have specific questions about specific cars, please PM me and we will try to obtain answers on the 28th.
That sounds like a lot of fun. What a great bunch of people on this board! Wish I was closer for this
Good luck w/ this... it sounds like its gonna be fun.
I've been wanting to get started on a MR2 rally cross / Autocross project with my kids. I can bring myself and 2 others as well as a couple trucks to help move and haul in exchange for the mr2s.

I don't think quid-pro-quo is the emphasis here... I think the goal was GRM'ers helping out other GRM'er and those who help have the first opportunity to buy (at a very reasonable rate) the cars available. Having someone come help at the price of one of the cars nets no benefit to Karl... he might as well leave it in the field in that case.

I always look forward to this yearly post, just to see what you have uncovered. I wish that I were closer, but then I would have a project car problem myself.
In reply to NordicSaab:
I thought that might be the case. There is value though in clearing out the other cars so that some may be sold that might not otherwise be. Additionally Karl himself talked about a car for someone willing to bust down weeds and put in some hardcore labor.
Either way i would like to know more about the white MR2s.
Can't wait for the 29th, Saab, jeep, midget....I'm way too far north.
that VW or a collection of the RX7s needs to be converted into a challenge project
