They go like stink, handle like its on rails. 1600-1700lbs. 100 hp 1.3 twin cam 16 valve motor. Pocket rocket if you look it up in the dictionary.
Very nice, I see the allure... Is that only the GT model?
Reason I ask, I found a couple too and want to play, haha.

That is a really cool board! Look up Phonis if you want to see how grassroots those guys can be!
I just bought a LTD LX thanks to this board, and now a Metro or Swift is next on the purchase list. A Saturn wagon is in third place.
What the hell is going on.
Sold. Check this rally car out.

I'll look up the Sprint Turbo tonight. Seriously, I'm buying one of these things in the next few months, I almost wish I'd passed on that LX I just bought so I could just go out and get one right now. But I really want one of these little buggers bad now, haha.
When you are looking at one, the biggest factor should be rust. They tend to rust out where the front lower control arms bolt to the chasis. There is a opening for the tie rods to pass through the chasis and that area tends to rust. If it does, the car won't hold a toe setting and eventually the control arms can pull out. Poke that area with a sharp screw driver to make sure it's solid. I've had about 20 different swifts, metros, sprints and most of them eventually rusted out in that spot.
The rockers aren't as critical to the structure and are much easier to replace. I would still love to find a nice rust free shell, but until then, no more swifts for me.
