People here have a good way of stumbling onto interesting things, so I figured I'd post here in addition to scouring the internets myself.

Looking for a cheap daily/beater. I have a 1k 'cap' but can stretch a bit for the right car, especially if it runs. The Mrs would prefer an auto for the one time a year she'd drive it but I'll deal with a manual if I have to.

Current prospects to give you some of cars I'm looking at:

95 Golf Sport 98 Jetta GLX 94 Geo Prism LSi 87 325is 88 Audi 5ktq

I can deal with German, doesn't scare me. Doesn't look like too many Civics fall into this price range or I'd just scoop one up.

Anyway if you have something in your driveway that you'd like to let move on, post up, PM or email me.

Thanks!

Yeah... that's a looooong way to drag a cheap car. I honestly didn't know what a 93 Duster was either until I bought it. I vaguely remember them from being new, but it took a bit to put 2 and 2 together. Looking back my grade school had some wicked cars, I remember my first grade teacher getting a Duster in 91, one of the secretaries had a new SHO in green in 92, and one of the other teachers had a Shelby Daytona.
