$1200 92 miata with hardtop - cleveland CL

She has not responded to my repeated calls and emails. Two months ago this same girl had this car up for over $2k and it has continuously slid down in price.

Back when she had it listed before, I tried to set a time to see the car then as well but no luck reaching her or hearing back then either.

It's amazing how people 'need' a quick sale, but do everything possible to prevent that from happening. I've been trying to buy a Colt Turbo in Chicago for the past two months under similar circumstances.

Assuming everything was as stated, in previous months I was willing to give this girl more money that she currenly has the car listed at.

I think I first noticed the car at $3,200 then $2.500. When it reached $1,800 I figured she sold the top off seperately since the listing then did not make mention of the hardtop. Now it has resurfaced at $1,200 and specifically mentions the top being included.

Earlier this week I made sure that I had that amount in cash at my house awaiting her reply. That was Weds. Since then voicemails, text messages and emails have all gone unresponded to.

maybe i should have my wife call her and see if she just is afraid to have some man show up alone to look at her car.

i was told i should buy it if it is still available but looks like it wouldnt be worth the hassle of trying.

I researched the phone number given and it is a Revol cell phone. Given the limitations of Revol, if she really is in LaGrange, OH she likely has no service there.

Today's emails and texts have gone out (I will call later.)

Almost a week of daily attempts have yet to yeild any results. The ad is still up there. Other than that I have no way of knowing if it is sold or not.

Based on the neglect here I suspect that the car is completly neglected as well. I begin to think now that when/if I do see the car I will learn things like, "those were the pictures from when I bought the car 3 years ago" or "the pictures are not really of MY car, just some sample pictures." Or, my favorite, "those pictures were from before the accident."

Pat, Any word on your part?
