07 Chevy Express 1500 obo - $1500 (East Stroudsburg)

I have an 84 chevy p30 stepvan that (doesn't) run on propane that I'd like to put that 6.0 into, after parting/junking what I didn't need it would almost be free!

Since this line is unlikely to work w/wife, maybe someone here could shoehorn this engine into something improbable!

EDIT! NMNA NOT MINE, NOT ASSOCIATED!

Yeah, I'm considering something like that to move with instead of renting a U Haul. All else I can sell it on the other end and make a bit back on it vs the 1.5k I'm looking at between truck/trailer and gas.

I had a 2004 with the 6.0. Sigh...I miss that van.

Seriously, someone just buy it and DD a chevy express van like a boss. A van would make a good DD because: Not fast/doesn't handle = You won't want to mod it all the time till it doesn't run Cheap/reliable way to get to work, may even be flex-fuel $2 sober ride home for all your friends! Every time you buy a car part, you don't have to worry about getting it home, you got the room

Ok, maybe not the best argument, but Its for sure a cheap ride, and chevy maintenance parts don't break the bank.

I DD'ed one for awhile. With the heavy duty suspension they corner reasonably well and that 6.0 is no slouch. I put in a suburban second row and hauled my kids/nephews and nieces in it. That thing was great. 11mpg and a huge tank was painful.

I have a 98 G3500 with a 5.7 and absolutely love it. I don't drive it frequently, but I can get 17mpg unloaded. The worst mileage I've had was 10.5 pulling a loaded 12' enclosed trailer at 70mph. It's very comfortable to drive also, which I definitely didn't expect - it's a much better than the handful of Ford cargo vans/box trucks I've driven.

I had an 01 pickup with the 6.0.

Torque king, but a real pig on fuel economy.

I liked driving it. I didn't like paying for it.
