Lots of want, but no motor and 1800 puts it solidly in factory LS motored used burb' territory by the time you add an engine.

I feel like I cross shop just about anything, but when I bought my 69 4x4 burb I wasn't cross shopping the newer stuff at all regardless of cost. That's like saying "well, the new Mustang is cheaper than that old Boss 302, so I think I'll go that route".

May be true, but you still won't have a 1965 Suburban...
Where's aussiemg? This looks right up his alley and it's close.
I'm guessing the missing fenders are due to a need for quick cash... might be a PITA to find replacements.

it's more up my alley but i emptied the car $ box for the wife's new DD. otherwise i'd probably be on the way with trailer.

I want something that hauls the dogs and can pull a car/boat/trailer. Both do it well. One looks much better than the other, one's easier to find parts for.

Though he does have that 406 the he keeps dropping into different chassis looking for one that is the right fit.

That's a gift. if it were closer I'd snap it up.
Not sure if the doors are PU but the entire front clip ('65 PU) should be available in reproduction from LMC and the like. Don't see the V6 (305) badge on the hood, 230 and 292 were the lower options. Maybe rust is the downside for the big price drop... quarters, floor pans, rear doors prolly ain't gonna be available repro.
Still worth a look I 'spose.

Quarters and floors are definitely available. Not sure on the rear door, but when I bought my 69 3 door 4x4 I was surprised and the availability on the body parts based on how rare they are.
